Lupo La Gora Label

Label Design

For La Gora Winery, we developed the label design for Lupo, a single-varietal white wine, conceived as a visual extension of the winery's architecture and the baroque character of its restaurant. The label combines classical Baroque ornamentation, rich painterly textures, and subtle gold accents, creating an impression of luxury, tradition, and sophistication. The illustrative approach draws inspiration from ceiling frescoes and historic wine salons, while the typography and composition emphasize the wine's exclusivity and its positioning within the upper-mid price segment. The central symbol and carefully balanced details enhance the label's shelf presence without compromising the elegance and authenticity of the brand. The design was created to communicate the core values of La Gora Winery—the fusion of tradition, architecture, gastronomy, and contemporary luxury—through a distinctive and memorable visual identity.

We are proud to share that the LUPO wine label, which we designed for La Gora Winery, has been awarded the Trophy for Best Label Design at The Balkans International Wine Competition 2026.

The 15th edition of this prestigious competition brought together:
• 1,022 submitted wines
• Participants from 12 countries
• Hvar, Croatia (May 27–31, 2026)

This recognition is especially meaningful, as it is awarded to the best label design among all wines entered from across the Balkan region.

As a designer and creative director, it is a great honor to have my work recognized on such an important international stage. I believe that a great wine label should do more than attract attention—it should communicate the story, character, and emotion behind the wine.

My sincere thanks to La Gora Winery for their trust and for the opportunity to create something truly special together.
